I would naturally agree, but for me the idea of my love is not stagnant because new information is flowing in from outside of myself all of the time helping me reshape the understanding I have of how she thinks and lives, and it can be a highly interactive process, as though she were always with me- I think of her anytime anyone mentions a very long list of common things, and sometimes the world reciprocates. I have quite a bit of faith in connectivist neuroscientific models because if strict plasticity were true I would only have one giant person-neuron dominating my entire brainpan.
