Why are your hands so soft?

Pressure dispersal over time preserving tissue composition? I don't know. Sometimes I live in places where the hand soaps have moisturizers in them. I don't often hold or touch things during the day, I use finger caps and a misrab to play music, I observe a healthy diet and my skin seems good at retaining natural oils. That and bathing my fingers constantly in warm lamb's blood....
