Why is love so important anyhow? Are arranged marriages in Asia where two total strangers are set up without meeting one another and can GROW into harmony, friendship, and mutual dependence so bad?

Those can be great, and alternatively they can be limb-rendingly savage, abusive, barbaric, and sickening to behold. Asian literature hopefully misrepresents the percentage of problem cases. I recuse myself from such arrangement (and all other incorporations) on the strength of aforementioned attachments.
