Would you wrap yourself around her skeleton then and starve to death like Quasimodo?

The thought would be very tempting, but once again I think what she would want is to have the people she has known in life to live on to fight against the problems of the world. She could continue on causally as a force through their actions, even in the case where no one else cares about that surviving person (which you the reader may one day feel in your life after losing the person that you care about the most), or the surviving person does not care about the people who still care about them in comparison to the loss they have suffered, which is often the case where elderly couples soon follow after one another in mortality.
